I'm no pro or anything but yeah, you can get pregnant even if there is no penetration. I'm really not trying to be mean but I have two girls, very little, but it scares me to see these questions from what appears to be a younger crowd. I really wish all of you could try to understand how dangerous it is to fool around like this. It would be a shame to get pregnant while you are still a virgin, which I strongly believe should be that way until we are mature enough to understand what sex, pregnancy, the beauty of sex with a husband, is like. I'm not judging you hun but please be careful.

It worries me to see girls who aren't "educated" enough about what the risks are with being sexually active. If you are asking yourselves these questions, you dont have enough information and therefore are making uneducated decisions about your lives. Pregnancy is one thing - STD's are another.

I understand that we've all been through our teenage years and have 'experimented' with sexual behaviours but it is incredibly important that you take the task of educating yoursleves completely about everthing from pregnancy to STD's very seriously. Good on you for asking these questions but please make sure you are more carefull now. Remember that you can get Pregnant or contract an STD from Non-penetrative contact and that it only takes one little sperm in moist vagina to get you pregnant. The risks are obviousy lower if you are not letting him penetrate you but there is still a risk if he is at your vagina's opening.

One more thing to remember. Your boyfriend may have only ever had one other sexual partner but she might have been with 10 other guys, each of whom might have been with 10 other girls - and so it goes on... You are exposing your healthy body to a whole world of germs and STD's by playing around without condoms. You only have one body. Look after it! Dont play with fire!

So if a guy rubs on you and for a couple minutes and doesnt enter, there is still a chance of being pregnant. Even if he is dry?

Haha, umm..no. I think that the women above was saving that its kinda hard to tell if he's dry or not, because your vagina is naturally moist, and if there was pre-cum, it would be rather hard to determine if he was "dry" or not. In which, rarely but just as possible- pre-cum CAN get you pregnant.

If he does not ejaculate on or near your vagina, then it would be very rare for a pregnancy to occur.

However, I don't feel comfortable saying with 100% certainty that you could not become pregnant in this way, as there are differences between the textbook answer, the "theoretical" answer, and the behaviors that actually happen when two people are intimate.

When two people "fool around" then the guy could accidentally or prematurely ejaculate, or he could have "pre-cum" (pre-ejaculatory fluid that is present on the penis when it becomes erect, and may/may not contain sperm), or any number of possible "what if" scenarios that occur in the heat of the moment. What may seem like a second that he "only inserted the tip" or "just brushed his penis by my clitoris" or "just touched the tip of his penis to the outside of my vagina" in actuality may haven been longer than "just a second", or there may have been more penetration than is realized. It is really difficult, in the actual moment and sexual act, to have the penis only touch around the vagina and not get in or near it and be totally 100% "dry".

With all that said, the textbook answer is: without penetration and without ejaculation, it would be almost impossible to become pregnant if we are really, truly only talking about genital-to-genital rubbing.
