Can i get pregnant without deep penetration?

Hi, I'm 23 years old lady and I'm still a virgin. I have a bf and we've been together for more than 4 years. We never had 'real' penetration or sexual intercourse (saving it for the marriage). But today we made out and he only put his tip into me (only like half an inch to an inch) but did not cum in me. I am just a little concerned and went online to search for answers, and some people even mentioned that with what i've done, i'm actually not a virgin anymore! but no pain no blood flow happened.

Anyway, my question is, will i get pregnant this way? isit really true that if sperm was only near the vagina, i will get pregnant?

only supportive and real answers please.. i know i shud've used contraception, but it was our first time, and we didn't really planned for it to happen.

thanks..

Anon,

What do you mean by it touched my vagina? Was this inside or just the outside? Truth be told, the chances of you being pregnant if there was no actual intercourse involved is slim to none. Still, a chance is a chance if any sperm did get inside. If it's been less than 72 hours since this occurred, Plan B One Step is sold over the counter to prevent pregnancy.

Best Wishes

Hey. I am 19 and my boyfriend and I were fooling around one day. We are both virgins still (in my eyes), and my hymen is still intact. He inserted his penis about an inch in and he did cum inside of me, but only one time. It is about 16 days since my last menstrual cycle too. Do I need to be concerned?

You are 19 and not sure if you should be concerned that a boy ejaculated inside of your vagina?!

Yes, of course you should be concerned if you do not want to be pregnant. I am sorry to be so blunt, but I'm not sure how you are still a virgin "in your eyes" if your boyfriend is inserting his penis inside your vagina, whether it is the tip, half-way or all the way inside.

You absolutely need to take a home pregnancy test since you are so late for your period. Please let us know how we can help.

I am sorry for not being concerned. Just trying not to worry about stuff like that. I have college and other stuff, so trying to stay calm and composed for my boyfriend and myself. I know it was a stupid decision and I regret every part of it, but I am expecting to have my period Sunday, so it isn't late yet. I just usually have cramps right before and this time I didn't have any. So I was just feeling a little nervous. When is a good time to take a pregnancy test?

By your response, I must apologize that I was too blunt in my reply. I was surprised at the casualness of your question, asking if you should be concerned about having unprotected sex and still considering yourself a virgin, all at the age of 19. Your new information sounds much more reasonable, and I understand your situation better.

I'm happy to hear that you are expecting your period this week. You are right: you may be a little nervous or stressed, and it can cause a delay in your period. Don't worry...just give yourself a few days after your period is supposed to begin, and you can take a home pregnancy test. Some HPT even claim to have accurate results up to 5 days before your period begins; most of them are not 99% accurate until after your period was supposed to begin.

Please keep us updated!

My boyfriend and i were fooling around yesterday. He put his penis inside my vagina about an inch and only for a few seconds. He didn't break my hymen but isn't sure if he pre-ejaculated inside me. what are my chances of being pregnant?

Do you mean he is not sure if he ejaculated inside of you?

There is no such thing as not being sure if he "pre" ejaculated or not. He either ejaculated (had an orgasm) or he did not.

Pre-ejaculatory fluid is a small amount of semen on the tip of a man's penis when it becomes erect. There is no stopping this "pre-cum". most experts agree that "pre-cum" does not contain sperm, but there is a possibility (under the right circumstances) that it could contain sperm.

Ejaculation is the fluid that comes out during an orgasm, and men know when they ejaculate.

If your boyfriend put his penis inside of you (whether for 2 seconds or 2 minutes, does not matter), then there could have been pre-cum fluid on the tip of his penis. If he did not ejaculate, there would be a minimal risk of pregnancy. However, please know that whenever your vagina is penetrated by a penis WITHOUT a condom (whether or not your hymen was in tact or not), you are taking a risk of pregnancy.

Well then he might have had pre ejaculatory fluid on the tip. but how long do i have to wait 2 take a pregnancy test? My period is not very regular. sometimes i get it every other week and sometimes every two weeks. some times even twice a month. So when would i be able to take a pregnancy test if that isn't regular?
