Burning pain in back of neck

I had a accidental fall Nov. 29th, 2016 and shortly after had pain in right shoulder (the right hand was used to catch the fall), corrected w/cortisone shot. Just a little pain streaming up right neck to hairline.

Pain returned in right shoulder and neck in March and another cortisone shot masked the pain.

Last month, left shoulder pain started w/terrible burning in left neck. This is 6 months after the fall; can this still be a result that fall? Yes, I have arthritis, but diagnosis of pinched nerve out of the blue seems like it stems from the jolt of a fall.

Treatment of pinched nerve is starting w/PT.
