List of daily to constant symptoms: 1) Hot flashes (duh?) 2) Chills 3) shortness of breath (OMG) 4) Heart palpitations/strong or rapid heartbeat.. Especially when activity level increases (including when awakening to urinate during sleeping hours) 5) BP higher than in the past (100/60 normal in past; now anywhere from 120/80-150/100) 6) Hearing heartbeat in ears (& No I do not take hardly Any NSAIDS, but Do try to take one dose of aspirin each day in case it's my heart could be the problem... but forget apx 3/4 of the time) 7) Sleep issues. Never know if I will have sleeplessness or sleepiness (of course "some" nights are fairly normal. 8) Increased muscle/joint/bone stiffness and/or pain (whole body; yet hard to predict what/where) 8) Constant fatigue 9) Brittle nails 10) Sensation of pins and needles in head area..also from fingertip to fingertip, including neck and across uppermost strip of chest as precursor to hot flashes (especially when heartbeat strengthens) 11) Forgetfulness/memory lapses 12) Overall weakness (only have apx 50-75% of normal strength) 12) Emotional numbness about 40-60% of the time (also boredom or depressive feelings @ times)

Thank you so much for listing those symptoms! I turned 50 in January, and since summer ended have been experiencing some scary joint pain. Today my arms are heavy, my forearms mildly ache, and the pain seems to travel to my elbows. Yesterday my left knee suddenly acted as though I injured it, but I'm pretty certain I did not. At any given time I experience a sharp shock in my eyeball, torso, and other parts of my body. I've now had 3 panic attacks on the highway in rush-hour traffic... very scary! Of course I have experienced hot flashes as well, and have not had a period since May,(which is the only great thing about this)!!!
What an absolute bummer that we as women have this to look forward to after 40 years of menstrual cycles. I guess we're just supposed to get used to this as well. Surely , God is a man.
