Guide

Hello AnnaS198,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about your symptoms.

Treatment with hormone therapies is a preferred conservative management when initially treating endometriosis.

Quasense contains the synthetic female hormones, ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel.

Citing Drugs.com, less serious side effects may include:

mild nausea (especially when you first start taking this medicine), vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps;
breast tenderness or swelling, nipple discharge
freckles or darkening of facial skin, increased hair growth, loss of scalp hair
changes in weight or appetite
problems with contact lenses
vaginal itching or discharge; or changes in your menstrual periods, decreased sex drive

AnnaS198, some women may experience other side effects. In your case, you are having leg cramps, so I suggest you report this to your physician.

Regards,
Maryann
