Listen as Dr. Tariot explains if there is a cure for Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Tariot:
There’s not a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, but what people need to know is that we consider it treatable. It used to be viewed as this inevitably fatal, disastrous illness. It really doesn’t need to be that way and the treatments and the disease management techniques that we can offer now can really help people maintain their autonomy for a long time, and we do think we’re in striking distance of definitive therapies that have the potential to arrest, slow down, potentially reverse and potentially prevent the illness. So this, this is, this is a possibility.
