Dr. LeBlang recalls if the woman takes medication before or after having her fibroids removed by Magnetic Resonance (MR) guided Focused Ultrasound.

Dr. LeBlang:
Most patients, during the MR guided Focused Ultrasound procedure, will take some conscious sedation medicine to make them comfortable during their procedure. Because we give them some of this medication, such as Valium or Verset during the procedure, you cannot drive immediately after the procedure. However, the next day patients are free to drive.
