Dr. Rhoda Cobin
Dr. Rhoda Cobin is Past-President of the American College of Endocrinology, a Past-President of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and a Master of the American College of Endocrinology (ACE). Dr. Cobin has been in private practice in northern New Jersey for 31 years. She is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and is Co-Chief of the Mount Sinai's Thyroid/Endocrinology Clinic. She is an attending physician at Mount Sinai and at Valley, and Hackensack University Medical Center Hospitals in New Jersey.
She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, attended the State University of New York Downstate Medical School and earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She served her internship and residency in medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. Dr. Cobin completed her fellowship in endocrinology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Cobin has been a member of the AMA Physicians Consortium for Performance Improvement and its Diabetes Performance Measure set to development committee. She is a member of the National Diabetes Quality Alliance. Dr. Cobin has longstanding interest in and has published on the impact of sub-specialist care and diabetes outcomes.
