Dr. Joseph Aiello
Dr. Joseph Aiello, D.O., attended Osteopathic Medical School at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri and completed a Family Practice Residency at Brentwood Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio in 1991. Dr. Aiello is licensed in California and board certified in Family Practice by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners. He acquired additional training in acupuncture in 2001 through the UCLA department of Continuing Medical Education.
Dr. Aiello is an active member of Alvarado Hospital medical staff. He has been a member of the Case Management Committee since 1997. Currently, he is the Vice President of Encompass Family Physicians Medical Group.
Osteopathy has a long tradition of "wellness" and preventative medicine. Osteopathic schools emphasize training as Primary Care Physicians. D.O.'s also receive extra training in musculoskeletal medicine. This enables Dr. Aiello to fully evaluate patients with his hands as well as his ears and eyes to listen to his patients and see each individual as a whole person.
