Upon graduating magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, Ben Ebrahimi, M.D., attended Baylor College of Medicine and completed oncology and hematology fellowships at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. While at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Ebrahimi was selected as a chief fellow, and awarded a National Cancer Institute Fellowship Research Grant.
Dr. Ebrahimi is an active member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). In addition to his general oncology and hematology practice, his special interests include gastrointestinal malignancies such as colon and pancreatic cancer, of which he has published many abstracts and articles. He also specializes in treating hematological malignancies, lung and breast cancer.
One of Wilshire Oncology’s missions is access to innovative therapies through clinical trials. As the director of clinical research, Dr. Ebrahimi guides the development of new and promising therapies to patients with various cancers.
