I have actually never had to struggle with them. I think they understand that, and I think I have driven the message home to them so many times that a burn from the sun is just as dangerous as a burn from the stove or a flame and they are pretty scared. They are worried enough about getting a sunburn that they do put on the sunscreen without complaining.
