EmpowHer’s a national outreach program giving women a voice so they can be advocates for their own health. The show airs live on the internet (www.onthehomestretch.com) and can also be found on iTunes.

About Michelle

Following a complete hysterectomy, Michelle was transformed from a highly active woman to being unable to function. She saw multiple doctors and took 9 different medications before finally getting the help she needed. The lack of information and resources on women's health led Michelle to create www.EmpowHer.com, an innovative social networking web site for women focused on health. Ultimately, Michelle's long-term goal is to reach out to every single woman around the globe, stop their silent suffering, and give her a voice. It's one woman at a time. Women are going to change our healthcare and I want to help lead that change.

About On The Home Stretch

"On The HomeStretch" is an Internet radio talk show helping us all make the second half of life better than the first. We talk about all kinds of things around here from relationships to recovery, from creativity to care giving; anything that has to do with good health ~ body, mind and soul.

The show came from host's Debbie Alan's confusion, her struggle dealing with change, loss, kids growing up and roles changing. Her boys needed her in different ways at 21, 19 and 16 than they did at 5, 3 and 1! She felt overwhelmed and at times, off kilter. She had lost her passion, her sense of purpose and meaning. So she started questioning other women and discovered they were feeling the exact same things! She felt better just talking with them, hearing their stories and their heart. Because of that, On The HomeStretch was born!
