Freedom From the Emergency Room

Another success of making it through another day home without having to return to the hospital! This is the longest that I have been home since March!

This morning I was up at the crack of dawn deep cleaning. I just felt this crazy energy surging through my body and each finish one task, another would appear. I even attempted to do my part in trying to pretend I have a green thumb (this is my part in trying new hobbies) I went to Home Depot the other day and bought a bunch of beautiful flowers and pots. This morning, I had a pathetic attempt to re pot them. I’m not sure what I did wrong, but for some reason I don’t think these flowers are going to make it even one week. I guess next time, I need to spend more time researching on the internet prior instead of just randomly throwing soil around at 5am.

I also decided the other day to have a couple of girls over again for Dancing with the Stars. This is something that has become somewhat of a tradition on Mondays, even when I was in the hospital (thanks ladies for putting up with the “family room” on 6th floor Oncology. This would be my last “hurrah” before chemo on Wed. It was so awesome to see everyone!

That's awesome! Congratulations on getting to stay home.

And every time I walk by the houseplant aisle at Home Depot all of the plants try to hide. Word has gotten around that my house isn't conducive to plant life.
