A Collapsed Lung

Rate This

I knew it from the moment I had a difficult time catching my breath, but nothing to be alarmed about.

We got down to CTCA late afternoon and they did a a CT Scan. Sure enough, my entire left lung had collapsed. Not good news. This means that they would have to call in the doc to do the surgery. I was so not looking forward to it. Fortunately, the nurse that I had allowed me to have a wonderful cocktail that sent me off to never never land. Throughout the night I would wake up in excruciating pain from the tube in the chest. I have x-rays scheduled for 6am tomorrow and if all looks good then I maybe get to go home Monday or Tuesday!
