how do I deal with this? and not lose my mind.

By April 7, 2015 - 1:09pm

almost 3months out since my hysterectomy surgery and one ovary left, don't think my right ovary is happy and so far this surgical induced menopause is making me feel like I am losing my mind, night sweats hot flashes heart racing anxiety feeling like there is always something wrong, not taking anything yet. Hormones sit n my cabinet doctor prescribed estrogen low dose, I am scared to death to take I am 47 never smoked don't drink but rarely never had a weight problem and yet I am afraid of all the side affects even though doctor says she is not worried , yeah well if something goes wrong it's me that lives with it not them. I have only my husband to share with and 30 year old daughter in another state. no family no close friends to reach out to so I am here and it's so hard to deal with by myself. not sure what to do.

Description

We're a group devoted to the education and support of something that will happen naturally to all of us at some stage: menopause. No longer called things like "the change" in quiet female-only groups; menopause is a normal stage of life that signals one part of life leaving, and a potentially fantastic one marching in! Some of us will need help, support and advice during this time, and some of us have lots of it to give. Light-hearted or troubled, we can swap experiences and stories, post questions and worries - all within a compassionate community that offers professional resources. Any woman, from 18 to 80, can benefit from membership! Let the fun and friendships begin...
