How to know your hand size to choose the right paddle

  • Height test

Every normal human beings have a definite proportion of their body parts. The size of every body part corresponds to others. Therefore, you can have an estimate of your hand size by measuring your overall height. This technique applies to both men and women.

For example, if you are below 62 inches, you must go for 4-inch grip size. If you are between 63 to 68 inches, choose a grip size of four and a quarter inches. For more height, choose a grip size of four and a half inches.

They can do it with the help of a ruler. This length will determine the perfect grip size. If there is any confusion between any two grip sizes, the player must choose the smaller one.

Most companies that deal with pickleball paddle have a standardized grip chart. They consider either the height of the person or the result from the finger test to make such charts. You can have access to such grip charts on request. The companies also follow this grip chart to make their paddles. Once you have related to this chart, the company will find the right paddle for you. You must also check the grip of the paddle before buying it from these companies.
