I’ve recently been thinking about taking a short trip to the U.S. since I’ll soon have a two-week vacation. I’m looking for interesting places that aren't too crowded for a relaxing getaway by the water. A few years ago, I had a similar experience when I rented a boat and spent the day in nature. It was much more enjoyable than standard tours. I came across watergate marina in St. Paul on the GetBoat website, and it looks suitable for this kind of getaway. However, I’m not sure if it’s worth the trip since I’m thinking of bringing my girlfriend, who doesn't enjoy this type of vacation as much as I do. I'm wondering if there's enough infrastructure there for a comfortable getaway with my girlfriend, so that I can go swimming and there's somewhere to walk around with her so she doesn't get bored.
