Have you experienced financial infidelity?

Thanks to Cleveland331 for starting this Group!

Financial infidelity is common in marriages and relationships and even more so due to the current boom-and-bust decade in America.

Financial infidelity can manifest itself in many ways: by hiding receipts, lying about credit card purchases, hiding purchases, spending without consulting a partner or having secret credit cards or P.O. mailboxes where bills are sent.

Some of the more serious ways of cheating financially are forging signatures on loans or purchases or shifting unauthorized funds to secret accounts.

Consequences can mean ruined credit, bankruptcy, foreclosures or lost jobs - as well as failed marriages or and broken homes.

Have you faced something like this? How has it affected you or your family? Please share your stories with us!
