VIP/Business Lounges at Miami International Airport

By July 12, 2026 - 9:12am

I often see people saying that airport lounges are a waste of money. As someone who flies quite often and usually books tickets that include lounge access, I'd like to share my opinion. I’ve been to several lounges at MIA, so I have something to compare them to. My go-to option is the Admirals Club by American Airlines when I fly through Miami. The interior isn’t the most luxurious, but it has everything you need. Importantly, the Wi-Fi is faster than in the public. Miami International Airport provides information about the various lounges and their locations by terminal.
I’ve also been to the Priority Pass lounge. A coworker said he usually hangs out there because the food is good. For me, though, the main draw isn’t the food or the alcohol - it is the quiet and the space. After pushing through security and rushing to the gate, being able to step into a quiet place and take a deep breath is worth the money. Especially if you have a three-hour layover and the entire waiting area is filled with screaming kids and flight delay announcements. This is especially true if you have a three-hour layover and the entire waiting area is filled with screaming kids and yet another flight delay announcement over the PA system.
