I’m planning to move to Athens soon and would appreciate some advice from locals or anyone familiar with the rental market.

I’m searching for a safe neighborhood with good public transportation, reasonable prices, and access to grocery stores and other daily essentials. I’ve been browsing different websites but feel overwhelmed by the number of listings available.

Houses for rent in Athens seem to vary greatly in price and condition, so I’m hoping to hear about reliable areas, trustworthy landlords, and common rental pitfalls. Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
