I wanted to join this group because I was adopted. I found out after my dad had passed in 2000. I was going thru his desk and found my paperwork. I wish I was able to say thank you to my parents for the wonderful life they gave me.

Hi I am 15 and I am adopted I have a biological brother and sister. My biological brother live with me but my sister does not she was adopted by another family. I am the oldest , my brother is 1 year younger than me and my sister is 2 years younger than me.

Yes I am in contact with my sister. I am friends with her on Facebook, and she came to my birthday party 2 years ago. I have been to her house twice and she has been to my campground twice, I only found out a couple years ago she was my sister. Before that we would go to parties held by the adoption agency my parents got me and my brother through and I was friends with my sister not even knowing it she was my sister. My parents did not tell us earlier because my sister's parents also had a boy who was adopted, but he is not related to me, that no longer wanted to go to the parties so they were not coming often anymore and my parents were not sure if we would ever see her again.
