Coaching and guiding businesses towards financial health is business consultant Jennifer Love’s mission and purpose. Describing herself as a “serial entrepreneur,” Love attributes her success to not only her impeccable work ethic, but also to “really good advisors and amazing friends.”
Perhaps it is Love’s integrity that attracts her circle of phenomenal supporters. Her consultant company gave her the opportunity to work with more than 150 companies, varying from "start-ups to Fortune 200s." An expert in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) space, Love has led with an emphasis on social change which has led to making profits.
Five years ago, Love co-founded a chocolate company called NibMor. The company went from kitchen to national wholesale success in a short period of time.
Now, Love is taking her strategic skills to her Business Made Simple (BMS) online training program. This will allow her knowledge to guide and inspire other entrepreneurs.
To Love, life is not just an ordinary box of chocolates, but one with a social consciousness. Her recipe encompasses all of the essential ingredients including social and political hot buttons such as organic, non-GMO, vegan and Fair Trade chocolate.
She did not set out with this as her mission, but says, “That is how food should be, both ethical and nutritious. We should not have chemicals in our food.” Love has always been ahead of the curve, with NibMor ("Nibble More") being the first chocolate company to be non-GMO certified.
So I asked Love, “Why chocolate?”
She describes it was all part of a lesson to learn to “love” herself. That newfound love affair ignited her power to propel herself to success.
Like many entrepreneurs, triumph over a personal journey led her to health and prosperity. For more than 10 years, Love struggled with an eating disorder.
She is now a recovered bulimic, and part of her recovery was to dive into not just the food industry, but the indulgent chocolate industry. This allowed Love to foray into the food industry with her entrepreneurial talents. Ultimately this journey led to a new relationship with food.
She has since earned her health coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She also works to educate and raise awareness about eating disorder prevention and the fight against childhood obesity.
Along with her thirst for knowledge and innovation, Love has a passion for reinvention and believes if your cup is not half full, you can eat it! She recently joined the founders of Loliware, an award-winning biodegr(edible) cup and edible packaging company that has received substantial press for their environmental awareness and innovation.
Love emphasizes in her business coaching and virtual training the simplicity of doing business with a primary focus on sales training. She says, “Most entrepreneurs are afraid of sales. They are good at the product or service, but going out there is really scary.”
Her goal is to make sales fun, to focus on building relationships and providing a product or service that helps someone else. “She is adamant about “removing the negative mindset that gets in your way.”
Love has found the “why” connection that works in business, health and relationships. She says, “If you are disconnected from yourself that is probably why you are having a hard time finding your why!”
