These factors increase your chance of kyphosis. Tell your doctor if you have any of these risk factors:

  • Marfan syndrome or other tissue disease
  • Condition that weakens bones, like osteoporosis

    • Adolescence for postural or Scheuermann’s
    • Elderly with osteoporosis and spine fractures
