April 30th 2010, has been designated Vaginal Rejuvenation Awareness Day, in an effort to acknowledge Mothers and the amazing transformations their bodies undergo to give life to their children.
My name is Vanessa Scott, founder of Vaginal-Surgery.info. As a professional Vaginal Rejuvenation Consultant, I speak with women and mothers every day about the changes their bodies undergo after vaginal childbirth.
Often we neglect that some women's bodies are never the same again. And due to the sensitive nature of these changes, the majority of the women I talk to have never shared what they experience out of shame, embarrassment and ultimately ignorance.
The goal of Vaginal Rejuvenation Awareness Day is to inform mothers and all women dealing with symptoms of pelvic and vaginal laxity, they have options. Everyone is invited to further the dialogue and spread the information. In my opinion, knowledge is the first step to empowering these women.
People all over the world will be participating on this special day to encourage this conversation. Our goal is to inform and educate people globally. Women need not feel powerless or helpless because of reversible health conditions like Stress Urinary Incontinence, Bladder/Rectal Prolapse or vaginal laxity.
