I do not drink or do drugs. However, I have a lot of broken blood vessels in my face, particularly my checks, and many broken blood vessels in the whites of my eyes, so my eyes look permanently blood shot. Because of this, people (read doctors) look at me as if I were an alcoholic, which I am not, and give me short shrift. (I'm not an alcoholic, but so what? What if I were? Wouldn't I deserve decent treatment?)
Why do I have so many broken blood vessels? I know this condition can't be reversed, but I'd like to know the cause.

We have checked with a fantastic dermatologist in the area to get answers to your questions. Keep an eye out in the next day or two.

Thanks for your post. Have you been sick or pregnant recently? Do these areas hurt to the touch? Also, have you already seen a dermatologist for this condition?
