I had a lumpectomy 5 years ago. Invasive ductal carcinoma. Ok so i have been well. Last year i had pain in breast and was told lymph fluid was pooling...so ok seemed lymph massage solved it. Now pain is back. I have been doing the lymphatic massage myself. Wondering if pain from inflammatory bc would come and go...could I get this type of bc if I had the ductal carcinoma before? It is quite painful these days...just read about inflammatory bc and now I am worried. Thoughts?

This type of breast cancer is called “inflammatory” because the breast often looks swollen and red, or inflamed. Inflammatory breast cancer is rare, accounting for 1 to 5 percent of all breast cancers diagnosed in the United States. Most inflammatory breast cancers are invasive ductal carcinomas, which means they developed from cells that line the milk ducts of the breast and then spread beyond the ducts.
