Which supplements for Autism?

I read a study about supplements improving autistic behavior. My d has Asperger's and takes a multivitamin. Is fish oil also recommended? Any other particular supplements that show promise? She has been tested for Celiac's Disease and has no problems with gluten. Thanks!

I work directly with TACA through my health advocacy. Yes Fish oil is recommended, but DO YOUR research! I have something that is completely organic, sustainable and has NO mercury like 99% of all fish oils contain. My son is on the spectrum and there is talk about getting him OUT of his special class since he is doing SO much better now. I am a mother and a provider and I truly beleive this product is the best on the market PLUS I have seen the proof since it got me off ALL my meds too! Dm me for more info!

Anon - There appear to be a number of commercial websites which sell supplements they claim will help those with autism. I would ask your daughter's doctor, or a non-profit advocacy group, for information and suggestions. One group that may interest you is TACA, Talk About Curing Autism, which has information about supplements on the following page: http://www.talkaboutcuringautism.org/medical/newsupplements.htm
