Q:

When my Fibromyalgia flares up the pain in my shoulders, neck and arms are a continuous dull pain that doesn't stop. My physcian prescribed Lyrica which seems to help but should I take it daily even tough I don't have a flare up? Like a maintainance drug?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Most people take Lyrica daily or very regularly to help with flare ups and to help prevent them. Ask your doctor what the dosage should be for you but it should be written on your prescription bottle.
Best,
Susan
