Until you get a diagnosis, we can't say or explain what the medical term is.

You may have something called a pedal ulcer - these are wounds/ulcers on the foot that have a hard time healing and could be caused by diabetes, infections or neuropathy. A big toe is often affected. Please seek medical help to know more.
