Hi yollonnda,
July 28, 2010 - 8:10amThanks for finding EmpowHer and asking your question.
Sorry you're having to deal with hives. What do you think is causing the outbreak? Have you ever seen a doctor about your hives?
According to MedlinePlus, hives is a skin condition that usually is caused by an allergic reaction to drugs or food. It usually goes away on its own, but a severe case may need treatment from a doctor. They may administer a cortisone shot, or prescribe medicine. If your hives ever come with the additional symptom of difficulty breathing, get immediate medical attention--allergies can sometimes be life threatening.
