My friends grandson drinks toilet water and he has been complaining that his mouth hurts? What type of oral rinse would be safe to use.?

Hello. Thank you for posting.

The child should not be allowed to drink toilet water. Bacteria, residue from chemical cleaning products, and metal particulate can all reside in the toilet bowl. We cannot know what these sores are. This needs to be addressed by the child's pediatrician.
