what are some things I can do about insomnia, due to possibly menopause?

I'm 56, diagnosed with hperthyroid 6 yrs ago. At that time I weighed 145, now I way 192. My last complete cycle was July 2010. That came out of the blue. My cycle had fluctuated previously. Endocrinologist told me my thyroid levels are normal, even though I have a small cyst and 3 small nodules on thyroid. She has monitored me since 2005. I'm confused about tsh and menopause symptoms: insomnia, weight gain, nightsweats, & low energy. It can be seen in my eyes how tired I am. I have not been prescribed anything for thyroid or menopause. Is there anything I can do naturally that might help symptoms? Thank you

You need to consult with your endocrinologist about your questions regarding your thyroid function. She has the results of your thyroid function tests and can advise you on symptoms and treatment.
