Hi, Anon,

I am not sure I understand your question completely. May I ask you a few questions?

Are you male or female, and how old are you?

Were you diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse three years ago?

Do you need more information on MVP?

Did the doctor treat you for MVP? What did your treatment consist of?

And you were diagnosed with Mitral Insufficiency? Was this at the same time?

How severe are your symptoms now?

Do you have chest pain?
Do you have a cough?
Do you have rapid breathing?
Do you have shortness of breath when you are lying down?
Does your heart beat in a way that you can feel it?

What medications are you on?

What does your doctor recommend for treatment now?

Here is a page from the Mayo Clinic on MVP:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mitral-valve-prolapse/DS00504

and here is a page with some information on treating Mitral Insufficiency:

https://health.google.com/health/ref/Mitral+regurgitation+-+acute

If you will get back to us with some answers to my questions, we will be able to help you better.
