Thyroid gland

Good day! Im from Philippines. i had my thyroid gland removed 2 yrs ago in taiwan where i was based there im now back here in the phills. i just want to ask if how many times should i see the doctor for my post check up. is it normal to feel a little pain in my throat sometimes even if its been two years? im taking 150mcg levothyroxine.

Thank you for your question and for joining EmpowHER. It is normal to feel pain in your throat right after surgery, but if the pain you are experiencing now is persistent or excessive, you may want to get in to see a doctor to rule out a problem.
