Hi im 18 yrs of age, why do we fall for the wrong persons? i care about my boyfriend but lately it seems im growing away from him. Their are so many guys who like me and who are good guys but yet i still stay with the 1 who barely calls which i stopped caring about lately , the point im trying to make is as young girls we tend to know the truth about the guys we date but refuse 2 accept the truth that is in front of us and im wondering why????

I asked on many occasions if he would want us 2 brake up and he keeps saying no no no!! which is really strange to me cause we still havent had sex as yet and i dont plan to ave sex as yet as i am still young. why is he still with me he claims he cares ooh he's from a different country and he is getting his degree this year he keeps asking me to go home with him even though i keep saying no.

Hi Keisha Lee,

The heart wants what the heart wants. However, sooner or later- your mind kicks in and you realize that you have afallen out of love because this boy/man isn't satisfying your needs. It's easy to share life experiences with someone and hope that they don't make the same mistakes you have but unfortunately we all have to go through heart breaks in order to realize what it is that we truly want and that we won't settle for less. If you have an open mind...realize that you are 18 and you should not close your options and limit yourself to this one guy. Think about it-- is this what you want for the rest of your life? Do you really never want to give a chance to a good man who will do backflips in order to get to your heart? Is this the end of the road for relationships for you at 18? Do you think this will last forever and most importantly... realize that your feelings are already changing but he isn't. So what's keeping you there?

I hope this makes you think a little,
