My period ended on the 11th of November, a week after today I've been seeing a light brown spotting and later tonight I saw red blood spots. I'm not getting any pains, burning or itching. Also I have not been having sexual intercourse and such and I'm not on birth control.

I don't know your age, but if you have ruled out birth control, pregnancy, and infection, it's likely a flux in hormones. Spotting can happen during the time of ovulation. It can also be old blood exiting the uterus after the end of a period that was never fully discharged. If you only had a few red spots and not another period, I would not worry. Brown spotting a few days before a period or after is not uncommon. Any unusual or frequent bleeding should be evaluated by a doctor.
