Hi! I want to quit smoking, but have a problem in quitting.
I am worried about the coffee and smoking stains which appears at the bottom of backside of my teethes.
How can I get rig of it? Is there any specific toothpaste I can use for? etc
Thanks

Hi Fawad0o,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER communty.

The best defense is by staying on top of regular dentist visits and getting professional cleanings. Brushing, flossing, and using a tongue cleaner and mouthwash on a regular basis, at least twice daily is good. Also the right toothbrush is important as well. Toothbrush bristles should be stiff and strong enough to be able to tackle the hard stains left by tar in the tobacco. Toothpaste that is made specifically for smokers, as they are chemically stronger and better able to tackle harder to clean bacteria.

Here are a few to consider:

  1. White Glo
  2. Plus White (Smokers)
  3. Plus White (Coffee)
  4. Smokers
  5. Euthymol

Mouthwash also helps combat the bad breath many smokers experience.

I hope this helps.

Be well,
