Should you pop a blister?

Hi Hayden and thanks for your question.

Blisters should generally be left alone and allowed to heal on their own. The fluid which fills a blister keeps the underlying skin clean, prevents infection and allows the wounded area the opportunity to heal.

If a blister hurts or is severely infected the best course of action would be to see your doctor as a prescription treatment and other precautions may be needed.

Hope that answers your question but if not please give us more information so we can help you further.

Best,

Pat
