Pain in heel and side of Right Foott

There is a constant and recurring dull, and some times sharp pain in my heel and side of the heel.
I have rubbed and massaged the area with lotions/aloe, but it only helps for a short time.
It is sometimes so achy and painful that it makes me limp!

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Heel pain is not usually caused by a single injury, such as a twist or fall, but rather the result of repetitive stress and pounding of the heel. In the majority of cases, heel pain has a mechanical cause. It may also be caused by arthritis, infection or an autoimmune problem, or some other systemic conditions See a foot doctor for a proper diagnosis.
