Hi,
September 9, 2011 - 4:43pmTo answer your first question, yes, you can experience delirium tremens or the DTs can occur when you stop drinking alcohol after a period of heavy drinking, especially if you do not eat enough food. Delirium tremens is a severe form of alcohol withdrawal that involves sudden and severe mental or nervous system changes.
Sounds like you use substances, marijuana and alcohol, regularly and heavily. Am I right? This explains the voices in your head. This can create chronic problems to your brain. You need to seek the advice of a mental health care professional. With help, you can overcome your substance abuse habit and "silence" the voices in your head.
Please get help,
Maryann
