So basically i have this mole situated in a really inconvenient place. It's placed on the under fold of my breast and it literally exactly where the underwire of my bra goes. It used to stick out a little bit and it sometimes tears where the bra rubs on it. This one it completely tore the top of it off and it grew back with half of it slightly raised and the other half raised about 1cm in a cone like shape. Well yesterday i was getting ready to go the shop for my mom and i got this searing pain where it is. I look down and half of the bit that sticks out has torn but is still connected. I went and showed my mom and it just kept bleeding and wouldn't stop for a while. She said that i should book into the doctors to see if i could get it removed but they didn't have any spaces and to call back next week, except it's mayday on Monday and I'm not even sure if they're open but the receptionist did say i need it looking at. Well obviously i can't wear a bra at the moment, I'm try to preserve it so they can see the damage hoping I'll be able to get it off if they see it how it is, except it keeps getting stick to my tops, and earlier when it started bleeding again, it got stuck for he piece of tissue. Im quite dumbfounded at what i should do, plus I'm not sure if it even looks healthy at the moment (massive hypochondriac so im kinda convinced it's started to get infected) . Please help, i can try and provide pictures if it's easier. It really hurts and occasionally gets a sharp pain where it is. I'm also at college again Tuesday and don't really want to go braless but will do if i have to. Would it be easier to like idk rip it off? Or is that a cause for infection and no treatment

Hi, Charleezard4.

Thank you for your writing to EnpowHER.

You need to see a dermatologist. Try another practice if the one you contacted would not give you an appointment. Or perhaps, in the meantime, you can find an after-hours facility, most take walk-ins (no appointments needed). Don't try to rip it off. Until it can be looked at, keep it clean and bandaged. Most moles are nothing to worry about, but any mole that changes in color or size or simply concerns you should be checked.
