Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.
No, eating ice cream does cause ankle swelling.

Foot, leg, and ankle swelling is also known as peripheral edema, which refers to as a build up of fluid in these parts of the body.

Causes range from congestive heart failure to injury.
Please consult your primary care physician if you have ankle edema.

Regards,
Maryann
