Nipple soreness

I am 48 not pregnant. Have burning sensation in one nipple and itchiness and hurt. What can it be?

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. I am sure this is more than bothersome to you. There could many issues associated with itching nipples such as eczema, chaffing can cause annoyance. If I were you, go to your doctor and see what can be causing it to possibly get some cream to fix your concern.
