Hi stubbieiga,
What did the doctors, nurses or surgeon tell you about the "boil", and what type of surgery did you have? What information did your health care providers give you about what your condition was (I understand that they said they didn't know what caused it, but I am still unclear about what "it" is that you had surgery for).
