My right foot from arch to heel feels numb but podiatrist says it's not numb. Did testing touch what could be wrong?

My right foot feels numb only on bottom from arch to heel is numb. My podiatrist did several test touching foot right and left. Could tell him which he was touching. Can I do any exercises to help?

Ask your doctor if stretching might help.  Did he have any thoughts on what might be causing this sensation?
