Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
November 7, 2015 - 11:58amLaser surgery is an option for removing Hemangioma on infants. However, laser surgery does not always work. If the hemangioma is not growing larger then it could heal on its own without surgery.
If you do decided to do surgery, things to watch for are excess bleeding, infection and ulcerations. You should discuss all of these with your doctor.
Medicated gel as a topical treatment is also an option. It is much less invasive and you can avoid all the potential complications that laser surgery can cause.
