a mole appeared on my shoulder a short while ago - it has been itchy and painful at times but then not noticed it. lately it is very dark colour and is crumbling and bleeding

Thank you for writing!

Your mole needs to be checked as soon as possible. All new moles should be seen to but one that is changing and bleeding needs an immediate checkup to rule out any kind of cancerous cause. Hopefully you'll get the all clear.
