The menopause is a normal part of like - it is a milestone, just like puberty - it is not a disease or a condition. Even though it is the time of the woman's last period, symptoms may begin many years earlier. Some women may experience symptoms for months or years afterwards.

Actually, when women suffers from menopause she is prone to increased appetite. This leads to unexpected weight gain. I tried maintain weight by having healthy food. Performing some light weight exercises also helped to retain the weight under control. They say that skipping any of your meals in process to lose weight can trigger off excessive weight gain. So eat well, sleep well and do not worry about weight gain. You can also take the menopause relief supplement that also works for control excess weight gain during menopause.

Hello Anonymous,
I did not experience weight gain as a result of reaching menopause. However, menopause sneaked in the "back door" while I was battling cancer. I did experience weight gain as a result of having a rare endocrine tumor, esthesioneuroblastoma, and taking high dose of Decadron, to reduce brain edema.
My way of losing 85 lbs. was to limit caloric intake, drink plenty of water, especially when hungry in between meals, and to burn more calories than I consumed. I started with yoga and daily walks. I have maintained a healthy weight by being physically active. For me, gardening our one acre property is a great exercise.
All the best,
Maryann
