Hi... I am the girl who had protected sex with a condom on September, got the five-day period a week later. And no next period on the months of October and November. On December 11 (more than 2 months after the protected sex) I took a urine test on a diagnostic laboratory and it came back negative. Today, December 22 my period came. actually it came yesterday but it was super light. it didn't fill the tampon last night. but itstarted off as brown to dark red to bright red. I had my usual cramps, but the period seems so slow. Is this normal? I really need your answer...

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

We get hundreds of "am I pregnant" questions per month.
We cannot say what is and isn't normal for you. As long as you have your period, you're fine. Give it a couple more days to come on properly. If it doesn't, you're just having a light period which generally is fine too. Ask your doctor if you have further questions - a simple blood draw can let you know if you have a hormonal imbalance.
Best,
Susan
