They say cold sores are three days coming, three days here and three days going so you're certainly on the mend.
September 1, 2017 - 7:25amIf you are uncomfortable and looking for over-the-counter help, then lidocaine might be your best bet. For future outbreaks, taking prescription Valtrex formulated for cold sores can stop the outbreak completely. It's very effective when taken as soon as you feel that little tingle.
